We've had a very cold winter here in Iowa. With the frost depth between 2 and 3 feet, I think it'll be a while before my flowers look like they did the past couple of years at this time.

I wasn't born when this picture was taken, but it's my Dad blowing snow. Dad and Grandpa made the "tractor" part using an old combine motor, a rear end from an old car or pickup and various other recycled parts. It was a snowblower in the winter and a garden tiller in the summer. He tilled many, many gardens around town.
