Dad's Retirement

Last February, Dad called to say that he had decided to sell the shop. He had already cut back on the hours he was working over the past few years, but it was time to officially retire. Grandpa Henry started the shop in 1940, and Dad grew up and worked there his entire life.

The beginning. The picture didn't have a date on it, but I'm guessing it's about 1942-43.

Working hard on his official last day.

Many hours have been spent in the past few months going thru the stuff that accumulates in a building after 73 years.

The shop is a part of family history and holds many memories.
Happy Retirement, Dad!
